The Crab Crawl is hosted in downtown North East the 2nd Saturday of September every year. Event tickets feature delicious crab dishes at 5 participating restaurants. Restaurants may be visited in any order between 11 and 4:30 pm. Hundreds of attendees walk along Main Street in between visiting the restaurants. Tickets are on sale at www.crabcrawl.org.

Proceeds from the Crab Crawl enhance the Summer Reading Program with numerous exciting and engaging programs and events for children and teens, including the Children’s Book Festival. All children who attend will have the opportunity to select and keep a book written by one our featured authors. The Friends Foundation supports children’s literacy initiatives all year long.
